Mantri Square honours retailers and business partners

Shopping mall Mantri Square recently held the “Mantri Square Retail Stars 2012 Awards Night,” in Bangalore to honour its retailers and business partners. The awards rewarded the mall’s high-performing retailers.

Speaking at the awards night, Sushil Mantri, CMD, Mantri Developers, said: “Today if Mantri Square is referred to as the most loved shopping and entertainment destination, it is largely because of our retailers and shoppers. Some of them have been with us from the day we started operations and many others have joined us during this eventful two-year journey. I take this opportunity to thank them for partnering with us and also to congratulate them for their success. We are one family and I take great pride in every association we have with each of them.”

The event was the first of its kind hosted by a mall in South India. Retail store managers, business managers, CEOs, CXOs, and VPs participated in the event.

A total of 36 awards were given. Lifestyle bagged the honour for the Best Performing Departmental Store while Soch and Global Desi were presented with the Best Performing Ladies Fashion Retailer.

Other awardees for best performances included Vijaylakshmi Expressions (saree), Bagzone (bag), FS Man and Manyavar (men’s fashion), Levi’s and Identiti (youth fashion), William Penn (gift shop), Nike and Puma (sports), Kids Favourite Shop (kid’s fashion), Reliance Jewels (jewellery), Kushal’s Fashion Jewellery (fashion accessories), Accessorize (fashion accessories), Reliance Footprint and Metro (footwear), Reliance Digital (electronics store), Imagine (electronics – single brand), Univercell (electronics – mobiles), Canon Image Square (electronics – cameras), Home Centre and Howards Storage World (home decor), Shiv Sagar and Rajdhani (restaurant), KFC (food court counter), Gelato Italiano (ice-cream counter), Bliss Chocolate Lounge (coffee shop), World of Titan (watch store), New U (health and beauty), Amoeba and Inox (leisure), Shoppers Stop (visual merchandising), and Spar (shopper’s choice retailer).
