Pune gets its third Globus store

Fashion brand Globus has launched its third store in Pune at Koregaon Park Plaza mall after opening stores at Inorbit mall and Pacific mall in the city. Spread over 10,000 sq.ft., the store stocks apparel and accessories for young men and women.

With existing categories such as western wear, Indian wear, and fusion wear for men and women, Globus will launch a new category “F-16” for the teens between the age group of 16 and 19 and a premium range for customers above 23 years. “We do have collection in the premium range but that is limited. So, we will introduce a special range of garments that will be priced at an average of Rs 2,500. The collection for the teens will be affordable and will be averagely priced at Rs 400,” said Vinay Nadkarni, CEO, Globus Stores.

After opening nine stores last year, Globus will be seen coming up in tier I, II and III cities this fiscal. “We will have around eight more stores across the country and the cities that we are targeting are a mix of metros and smaller cities,” added Nadkarni. The stores are likely to come up in Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Vijaywada, Bareilly, and Jammu. The company that has 35 stores in 22 cities across the country expects a turnover of Rs 275 crore by the end of this financial year.

The collection at Globus is available at an average price of Rs 999.

Launched in January 1998, Globus is part of the Rajan Raheja group. The company opened its first store in 1999 at Indore.
