    Amazon.com launches Junglee.com in India

    US-based online retailer, Amazon.com has launched an online retail store “Junglee.com,” in India that offers more than 1.2 crore products and over 14,000 brands from offline and online retailers, including Amazon.com, Homeshop18, UniverCell, Hidesign, Gitanjali, The Bombay Store, Fabindia, Bata India, Dabur Uveda, Microsoft India Store, Reebok, among others.

    The new centre is spread across 90,000 square feet, and offers more than 3 lakh cubic feet of storage space

    Speaking on the occasion, Amit Agarwal, Vice President, Amazon.com, said:“We are excited to give Indian customers a single online starting point where they can shop a wide selection of products sold by local and global retailers, and make informed purchasing decisions. We’re relentlessly focused on constantly improving the customer experience and growing selection every day, making it convenient for customers to find anything online.”

    Rajeev Gopalakrishnan, Group Managing Director, Bata India, said that the company is excited to add its product selection to Junglee.com and looks forward to getting feedback on the products through reviews section on the website.

    Junglee.com will offer products such as mobile phones, cameras, toys, games, baby products, books, music, movies, TV, clothing, jewelry, etc.
