Mattress maker Tempur opens eighth store in India at Gurgaon

Must Read

Tempur, an international mattress manufacturer, has opened its eighth stand-alone store in India at DLF Grand Mall, Gurgaon. The outlet stocks a range of mattresses, beds, and pillows made up of NASA-developed pressure-relieving material.

The store has a 12-minute experience zone giving an opportunity to the customers to try and know about the mattress before purchasing it. The company claims that the material used reduces snoring, is visco-elastic, and pressure relieving.

Speaking on the occasion, Puneet Verma, Country Manager, Tempur India, said: ”Gurgaon is one of the most exciting markets where we can see a new corporate and high-end residential, coming almost very week. I see a lot of potential here and therefore I always wanted Tempur to exist as an independent store in Gurgaon, apart from our store in New Delhi.”

Tempur has stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. It has also opened four retail stores called ”Springwel Planet Bliss” (two in Mumbai and one each in Kolkata and Delhi-NCR) in collaboration with Springwel (premium mattress making Indian brand) in India.

Tempur’s headquarter is in Lexington, Kentucky. It has partnered with Springwel Mattresses as its sole distributor in India.
