Diamond Footcare ties up with GAS and Warner Bros

Diamond Footcare, an Indian footwear retailer, has partnered with GAS (Italian lifestyle brand) and Warner Bros.

has partnered with Diamond Footcare to launch its shoe collection for men targeting the mid and high-end segment in October 2011.

Diamond Footcare would work as GAS’s exclusive distributor for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, and Maldives. The first launch is in India in October this year and the company hopes to cover and distribute in all these countries by the calendar year 2012.

In an exclusive interview with Images Bureau, Rajeev Uppal, President, Diamond Footcare said: “We will be functioning as an independent body right from designing of products which will be inspired from GAS footwear’s international range/designs, to production, sales, and marketing. We will be working under the guidelines from the brand and all the necessary approvals from them for complete operations.”

In another major development, Diamond Footcare has recently tied up with Warner Bros to become the licensee for India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka for their characters Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Tweety, and Luney Tunes. The company would be independently working from designing of products to production, sales, and marketing. It also has plans to launch a range of lifestyle shoes for the mid segment with the brand name Sisco this October.
