    Pavers England on an expansion spree in India


    Pavers England, a joint venture enterprise of the UK based Pavers and London based Foresight Group, plans to add 20 new exclusive franchise outlets in Tier I and II cities by December 2011. The retailer has opened its exclusive franchise outlets in Chandigarh, Pune and Bangalore.

    Pavers England currently has 15 exclusive outlets in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Chandigarh and has multi brand outlets like Lifestyle, Shopper’s Stop and Reliance Footprints Lifestyle, Central, Reliance Footprints, Shopper’s Stop at over 110 point of sales.

    Speaking about the expansion spree and the company’s future plans, Utsav Seth, CEO and MD, Pavers England, said, “The retail lifestyle market in India is growing rapidly and we want to fully tap this segment by launching 20 exclusive Pavers England outlets in tier-I and tier-II cities by December, 2011. We are very excited about the three new stores that have opened in Chandigarh, Pune and Bangalore and further plan to open new stores in Nasik, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore this year itself. Further we plan to establish Pavers England’s presence in the hugely unexplored Tier II markets through 500 shop-in-shop outlets in the smaller cities across the country.”

    He further added, "Pavers England collections are inspired by global fashion trends, keeping in mind the discerning customers in India. Today the brand is emerging as a destination where customers can get high quality fashionable products at a great value. This has been reflected by the phenomenal footfalls in the recently launched stores."

    Located in Sector 17 area, the Pavers England store in Chandigarh is spread over 1200 sq feet. In Bangalore, the store spread over 1000 sq. ft. is located at Indira Nagar market area. At Pune, the franchise store is located at Market City Mall. From footwear to handbags, wallets, belts, Turkish socks and even shoe care kits, the Pavers England stores offer leather accessories.

    PEL launched in India in April 2008, Pavers Foresight Smart Ventures is a 50:50 joint venture between Pavers Limited and London based US$ 500 million Foresight Group. Pavers England has exclusive tie up for India with Staccato-an International Women’s footwear brand owned by Hong Kong based Belle International. Pavers, established since 1971, is UK’s footwear retailer with more than 100 retail outlets. Paver’s shoes are sold in more than 90 countries and come in a wide array of colors and styles.
