Bangalore gets its first Easy Day Market store

Bharti Retail, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Enterprise, inaugurated its first Easy Day Market store at Banaswadi, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore. The store offers customers an everyday low price shopping experience, consistent availability and over 15,000 quality products, all under one roof.

The store is spread across three levels. The ground floor comprises staples, frozen food and fruit and vegetables. The first level is spread over 13,000 sq.ft and includes grocery & FMCG, small appliances as well as home furnishing. The second level also has over 13,000 sq.ft of space mainly dedicated to apparels.

Commenting on the launch, Andrew Levermore, Chief Operating Officer, Bharti Retail, said: “Easy Day is happy to open its doors to the discerning customers of Bangalore. The citizens of Bangalore will now be able to live better by saving money on shopping from our easyday Market store. In keeping with our culture and tradition, this store will connect with customers beyond the store become the ‘Store of the Community’ by not just offering a wide range of quality goods at consistent low prices, but also with community service initiative, including blood donation camps.

Bharti retail has launched more than 127 ‘Easy Day’ neighbourhood stores in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi, and 12 compact hypermarkets called ‘Easy Day Market’ in Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, National Capital Region and Karnataka.
