Cinépolis, Bangalore reaches one lakh customer mark

Cinépolis, India’s first international film exhibitor, has announced that it has achieved the important milestone of one lakh customers in Bangalore, in less than its first 5 weeks of operations.

At the occasion, Ashish Shukla, head-exhibition, Cinépolis India, said, “Arriving at the one lakh customer mark within a month of our launch is a momentous achievement for all of us at Cinépolis and we credit this success to our loyal patrons. Cinépolis had launched its Bangalore operations on April 21, 2011, which is the company’s first cinema in South India. It is renowned for offering unique cinema experience delivered through innovative technology. The company has an aggressive India growth strategy and plans to open 500 screens by 2016. More than half of these screens are slated to open in South India.
