New multi-designer store ‘Atosa’ opens in Mumbai

Aparna Badlani and Azmina Rahimtoola have recently opened their new multi-designer store, Atosa, at Khar in Mumbai. Spread across 1,000 sq.ft, the store houses designers from India and Southeast Asia, all under one roof. At the launch, noted designers such as James Ferreira, Nachiket Barve and Priyadarshini Rao, whose works have been put on show at the store, were present, along with Femina Miss India 2011 Kanishtha Dhankar and others.

Badlani said, “We will set exemplary standards in fashion retail at Atosa. We are a perfect amalgamation of creativity and excellence, coupled with outstanding service.”

Atosa stocks designs from Indian designers like Wendell Rodricks, James Ferreira, Priyadarshini Rao, Savio Jon, Gauri and Nainika, Kiram Uttam Ghosh, Anuj Sharma, Arjun Saluja, Aneeth Arora and Shyam Narayan Prasad. Accessories like bags and clutches from Malaga, Jamini Ahluwalia, Suhanie Pittie and Neelum Narang find space here.

The owners now plan to open their next stores in Pune and Hyderabad and later in other metros. The price range for apparel starts from Rs.3,500 onwards and Rs.2,500 for accessories.
