Russian retailer Dixy revenue up 20.8 per cent

Dixy Group, one of Russia’s leading retailers of food and everyday products, has announced revenue growth of 20.8 per cent in Russian roubles (24.1 per cent in USD) for the first three months of 2011 over the same period last year.

Dixy Group’s total revenues for the first three months of 2011 amounted to RUR 18,106 mn, representing a 20.8 per cent increase over RUR 14,990 mn for the corresponding period of 2010. In USD terms, revenue increased by 24.1 per cent to 619 mn, compared to USD 499 mn for the same period in 2010.

Retail revenue from Dixy stores for the first three months of 2011 amounted to RUR 15,483 mn (USD 529 mn), which represents a 22.2 per cent growth in RUR (25.5 per cent in USD) over the same period of 2010.

Retail revenue from Megamart stores for the first three months of 2011 amounted to RUR 1,836 mn (USD 63 mn), which represents a 9.4 per cent growth in RUR (12.4 per cent in USD) over the same period of 2010.

Retail revenue from Minimart stores for the first three months of 2011 amounted to RUR 547 mn (USD 19 mn), which represents a 9.6 per cent growth in RUR (12.5 per cent in USD) over the same period of 2010.

Revenue from other activities, such as marketing revenue, sublease income and wholesale revenue amounted to RUR 240 mn (USD 8 mn).
