Cinepolis launches sub-brand in India

Cinepolis has opened a five-screen multiplex, CinemaStar, at the High Street Mall in Thane. Developed by Siddhi Group, the total built-up area for the shopping centre is in excess of 5.8 lakh sq.ft., with one of the key anchors being Brand Factory. 

CinemsStar has a seating capacity of approximately 1,200. It is centrally located at the Kapurbawdi Junction across the Eastern Express Highway on the Old Bombay-Agra Road.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudipto Bose, Unit Head, CinemaStar, said, “We are extremely excited to transform an ordinary cinema-watching experience into a truely world-class experience. With our best in class technology and impeccable service, we hope to win the hearts and minds of our patrons."

The new multiplex features the first all-digital, 3D-enabled auditoriums equipped with the state-of-the-art audio and video technology that provides scratch-free scenes with finest picture quality and crystal clear surround sound, making it an engaging cinema viewing experience.

“We are proud to introduce the biggest multiplex in our mall at Thane”, said Jayendra Gala, CMD, High Street Mall, Thane. “We believe that CinemaStar will raise the bar for cinema viewing experience in the region and movie fans will be delighted by this new offering.
