Evok Mega Homestore – the home interiors retail chain from Hindware Home Retail Private Ltd (HHRPL) – has recently opened an outlet in Thane. Spread over a sprawling 14,000 sq.ft area, the store is located at Ghorbunder Road, Near Hotel Vihangs.

The new outlet offers more than 16,000 world-class contemporary lifestyle products and provides unique interior design services to its customers. In-house designers at the store assist customers in visualising their ideal home spaces using 2D and 3D visualisation. The store also offers turnkey build solutions that range from procuring the products to designing the spaces and installing them.

Speaking at the occasion, D K Jairath, COO, HHRPL, said, “EVOK, North India’s largest home interiors retail chain from Hindware, has the core vision of becoming the first choice partners to provide ‘complete home interiors solution’ to its customers.”

Reaffirming the company’s vision of rigorous expansion plans for West India, he said, “More Mega Homestores will be rolled out in Maharashtra’s key cities – Mumbai, Vashi, Nashik – and other important cities of South and East India such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin and Kolkata.”

“With a portfolio of premium products enhanced by our unique ‘Design to Build’ services, we hope to keep delighting our customers and repeat the tremendous response we have received at other EVOK stores,” Jairath said, “with rigorous expansion plans for western and southern markets, we look forward to setting new industry benchmarks in the home interiors retail sector.”

EVOK Mega Home Stores forayed into the modern home retail market of India in 2008 with an estimated investment of Rs.250 crore. The retail chain currently has presence across key cities of North India – Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh and Lucknow. With additional 8-10 Mega Homestores and 9-10 super speciality stores operational by the end of 2011, the company is targeting a turnover of Rs.400 crore by FY’14.
