Sainsbury’s returns to Wealdstone, London

Must Read

UK-based food retailer Sainsbury’s has recently launched a convenience store – ‘Local’ – at Wealdstone, London.

Store manager Yash Desai says: “Sainsbury’s first opened a store in Wealdstone in 1907 and our new store is located adjacent to the site of the previous store, which closed in 1986. We are delighted to be bringing the convenience and quality of Sainsbury’s back to Wealdstone.”

The new 2,600 sq.ft store will stock a range of high quality fresh and frozen produce, plus a range of products for those with wheat, gluten and dairy intolerances. It also boasts a bakery as well as stationery, newspapers and convenience food.

“It’s been great meeting local residents and we’re looking forward to making a positive difference to the community as well as welcoming our customers to their brand new store,” Desai added.

“We’re asking all customers to nominate their favourite local charity so that one of these can be chosen for us to support as part of our Local Charity of the Year scheme,” Desai added.
