A new high-end home décor outlet, Saibaan, has opened its first store in Delhi’s Lado Sarai. The store is spread over an area of 5,500 sq.ft.

Rajan Sood, owner, Saibaan, says, “The specialty retail market is growing rapidly in India. All strata of people are becoming aware of good living. At all levels the home décor market is growing and catering to larger volumes, both modern and traditional retailers have enough of opportunities to grow.”

Concentrating on Delhi, Sood wants to open more Saibaan outlets in the city before moving to other markets such as Mumbai, Ludhiana and Hyderabad.

“We will take the brand to where we feel there is sufficient market for our products. Our target customers are those who value design, quality, exclusivity and style,” Sood adds.

Saibaan houses products sourced from Germany, such as chandeliers. Other products include table decoratives, vase, table lamps, etc, sourced from various European countries. Saibaan also stocks art-inspired technology to take home, such as mirror TV and home theatres.
