New York-based investor and operator in the consumer products industry, TPR Holdings has acquired Trilogy Fragrances, a developer and manufacturer of natural and organic fragrances for the personal care industry.
“The natural and organic fragrance sector is an attractive market. As a leader in the natural fragrance category, Trilogy offers a fantastic platform for strong expansion and further category growth,” says Brian Robinson, President, TPR Holdings.
Of the sale, Richard Pisano Jr. formerly of Trilogy Fragrances Inc whose family were the majority shareholders, quoted, “For over 75 years, the Pisano family’s focus has been on its core business of ingredients. In our decision to sell the business to TPR, we considered that they were an organisation with proven global expertise and substantial resources that would provide a more appropriate fit for Trilogy Fragrances.”
