Addict Juice Bars launches standalone outlet in Bangalore

Addict Juice Bars, one of the first chains of Smoothie Cafes in Southern India, has formally opened its first standalone store in Bangalore. The outlet is loacted at Koramangala, spreads over an area of 1500 sq.ft and having a seating capacity of 30. It strives to be the ultimate destination for nutrition at a convenient location for customers. Apart from smoothies, Addict also has a wide range of functional beverages and healthy eats such as salads and sandwiches.

The brand began its operations in June 2009 in Bangalore and has four stores currently at Forum Value Mall,Whitefield; SJR I Park, Whitefield; Mantri Mall, Malleshwaram; and Koramangala 5th Block. The Koramangala store is the brand’s first standalone outlet. The company has plans to open 15 more outlets by December 2011. The expansion will be a mix of stores in malls, IT parks and standalone stores. The company has adopted a franchise model to expand the brand and Hyderabad-based Concept Venture Group is funding the expansion for Addict Juice Bars in Bangalore. The company is also looking for venture capitalists to fund its expansion into other cities.

Krishna Verma, director, Addict Juice Bars, said, "With the launch of our first standalone store in Bangalore, we are attempting to reach out to a vast audience. The range of our products, the thought and the concept behind each of them shows our endeavor to provide the very best to our customers. It is interesting to see that apart from attracting the gym-goers and health conscious corporates, our store have also gotten the attention of young women and families with children."
