Evolve, a joint venture of The Yash Birla Group and Singapore-based Pacific Healthcare Holding Ltd, has opened two new Med Spa centres in Mumbai. Located at Borivali and Worli, the centres provide a wide range of advanced cosmetic and dermatology treatments along with consultation services.
“So far, we have received good response from our existing centres. We see a lot of potential in this segment today as youngsters with disposable incomes are demanding a healthier lifestyle. The need for beauty enhancement treatments have lalso been a reason for the growth of the cosmetic industry by 25 percent. In order to capitalise on this opportunity, we are spreading our wings to satisfy the needs of young individuals,” says Dr Abhijit Desai, MD, Evolve Med Spa.
Evolve plans to invest Rs50 crore in the near future to open more centres in Mumbai and in other metros. The company aims at touching all metros and upcoming tier II cities to reach out to the ever-growing youth and the emerging middle class. It is considering to introduce 55 cosmetic centres at various locations across the country, such as Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Goa and Ahmedabad, among other cities.
