Ermenegildo Zegna Group, an Italian leader in luxury menswear has launched its first store in Hyderabad at Taj Krishna. This opening is the fourth store launch in India, forming an integral part of Zegna’s worldwide expansion strategy.
The Ermenegildo Zegna store offers complete wardrobe solutions for men in formal and casual categories. The store also offers accessories such as shoes, bags, ties and small leather items to complement the urban-chic apparel collection.
Spread across 2300 sq. ft, the Zegna store at Taj Krishna is designed by architects Gianmaria and Roberto Beretta and utilises a variety of colours, natural textures and furnishing details to distinguish between the different collections inside the store, whilst maintaining Zegna’s heritage of timeless style and sophisticated elegance.
The Ermenegildo Zegna Group is one of Italy’s most famous family-driven enterprises. It was founded in 1910 in Trivero by the young entrepreneur, Ermenegildo, whose vision was to ethically create the world’s finest textiles through innovation and sourcing the best fibres directly from their markets of origin.
Managed today by the fourth generation of the Zegna family, the company celebrates its centennial this year. Known as a global luxury brand, which ranges from fabric to apparel to accessories; Zegna was the first luxury brand to open an EBO store in China in 1991. Worldwide there are 555 Ermenegildo Zegna points of sale in 86 countries, of which over 300 are direct operating stores.
In India, the brand launched its first flagship DOS (Directly Operated Store) in Mumbai in 2007. The second DOS was launched at UB City, Bangalore in 2008, followed by the third Zegna store at Emporio Mall, New Delhi in the same year.
