M & B Footwear bags a Global Award for Product Innovation

M & B Footwear Pvt. Ltd., a completely vertically integrated footwear company, has attained a new high. The company has been bestowed with an international award for Product Innovation at the recent Lee Cooper Global Brand Summit, held in London.

Lee Cooper Brands, the entity behind the super brand Lee Cooper, which is present across 85 countries with over 4000 retail points, held a summit comprising of all its Licensing Partners, Key Associates and Agencies to share the brand progression and strategise the way forward. The event was held at Fish Island, East end of London.

Acknowledging M & B’s pioneering effort, Lee Cooper Brands pronounced M & B Footwear as the Winner – Most Innovative Product Development, across all categories for the successful launch and wide spread usage of its `Latino` footwear range.

The Latino range is equipped with the `dynamic air mid sole technology`, which is based on the principle of air cushioning. It has dual functional value fitted in the inside heel area of the shoe, which allows a two way flow of the air with natural walking movement of the feet, resulting in air exchange to give extra bounce and support to the heels, thereby reducing the knee jerk impact of the foot contact to the ground.

This Award was handed over by Andy Dunkley, CEO, Lee Cooper Brands to Vikas Bagga, Vice President – Marketing & Corporate Affairs, M & B Footwear. Rejoicing this award, Inder Dev Singh Musafir, Director M & B Footwear Pvt. Ltd commented, “This award is recognition of our long standing relationship with Lee Cooper, sustained brand building exercise undertaken for Lee Cooper Shoes in India and most notably, the leadership stance adopted by us – both on the category and product development front.”
