Must Read

One of the largest and most luxurious wedding exhibitions in Asia, `Celebrating Vivaha 2010`, was recently held at Hotel Ashok in New Delhi.

The exhibition brought together under one roof, the best of wedding finery. Garnering rave reviews for its past exhibitions, in its eighth year, Celebrating Vivaha 2010 lived up to its reputation with the hautest of bridal trends and everything that is needed to make a wedding truly memorable.

With each passing year, Celebrating Vivaha has turned bigger and better than before, both in terms of quality and quantity of participants. CEO, Tarun Sarda says, “When we launched Celebrating Vivaha in 2003, I decided to test the wedding markets of the country. I have endeavoured to redefine the concept of weddings and wedding exhibitions in India with Celebrating Vivaha. In addition to the best of brands and designers, it has added several cities in its ambit – Ludhiana, Indore, Bangalore and Hyderabad.”

In the midst of a mighty economic downturn, it is the bridal industry that seems to be suffering less, if at all. More and more people are going in for an extra-lavish celebrations and have no qualms spending big bucks to make their wedding an affair to remember.

The show featured fabulous exhibits and the latest ideas in wedding couture, jewellery, trousseau packaging and everything connected to a wedding, with services from top designers and facilitators.

Adds Sarda, “We know that weddings have moved beyond the basics. These days families with good spending power look forward to a wedding that’s truly memorable, extravagant and encompasses the luxuries of life, and families leave no stone unturned to facilitate that. And that’s where an exhibition like ours comes into the picture, by bringing in all the options that make a wedding complete. Be it wedding couture, jewellery, gifting, home décor, or photography for that matter, we endeavour to get all that together.”
