Celio opens in Chandigarh

Celio, the menswear brand from France, marked its presence in fashion city Chandigarh, with the launch of a 1,000 sq feet store at City Look, Sector -17. The store brings its latest Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection.

Present in 66 countries through 1,000 stores; Celio aims to provide fashionable clothing to men across the globe. The label has successfully marked its presence in India with 12 exclusive stores at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore and large format stores of Central, Lifestyle and Pantaloons in 22 cities. Within a short time, Celio has managed to establish itself as one of the leading players in the category with wide choice and best offerings.

“Chandigarh is a youthful and vibrant market and Celio as a brand has a lot to offer to the fashion oriented youth of Chandigarh. The demand for the style and fashion that Celio offers has been immense and that has been very encouraging for us to foray into new markets. We are working on an aggressive expansion strategy to increase our footprints in India especially through exclusive stores. Currently we are focusing on the markets in North, through stores in Chandigarh, Amritsar and Ludhiana and are also scouting for property in Jalandhar. We are also looking at marking our steps in Pune and Hyderabad”, informed Rajat Luthra, CEO, Celio Future Fashion Limited.

This winter, Celio replaces its casual and sportswear universe, with the Urban and Relax Line. Urban line, with its two themes – Citystart and Skybar, combines elegance, charm and comfort to introduce urbane styles for every day, and blends novelty and sophistication for its range of aristocratic evening wear. Relax line maintains the fundamental Celio style for relaxation under the theme – Traveller, offering a vintage look.

The collection is available with t-shirts for Rs 499-1299, pullovers and sweaters between Rs 1599- 2999, outwear and jackets for Rs 2999-3599, casual trousers for Rs 1799-2199, cargos and sportswear trousers Rs 2199-2799, shirts Rs 999-2299, denims Rs 1799-2699, belts Rs 499–1499 and other accessories between Rs 129-1099.
