Must Read

L’Oreal-owned premium skin and haircare brand, Kiehl’s, is making its entry into India with its debut flagship store set to open on the 13th of this month in Delhi at the Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. The New-York based maker of skin and haircare formulations made with cosmetic, pharmaceutical, herbal and medicinal knowledge, is opening a 550 square feet store, which is designed on the lines of international Kiehl’s freestanding stores.

“India will simply love Kiehl’s. We are excited to bring in the warmth and quirkiness of New York’s East Village through the boutique’s design and our spirit of active generosity. Our products, textures and results will be explained through a thorough consultation and each customer will be given generous samples depending on his/her skin needs,” says Dinesh Dayal, Director, COO,
L’Oreal Group.

Founded as a single pharmacy in New York city’s East Village in 1851, Kiehl’s was purchased by the L’Oreal Group in the year 2000, and is currently present in 37 countries, including India.
Kiehl’s India will offer the international catalogue of products, which include skincare products for face and body and the haircare and styling range.

Talking about competition to Kiehl’s, there is none since it is in a league of its own due to the kind of premium scientific formulations it offers.
