Shree Ganesh Jewellery House Ltd (SGJHL), manufacturer and exporter of handcrafted gold jewellery, has opened its first outlet in North India at Gold Souk Mall, Gurgaon. The outlet is spread over an area of 1,500 sq.ft.
On the opening of the exclusive Gaja showroom, Ashok P Sahni, CFO, Shree Ganesh Jewellery House Ltd, said, “Our jewellery collection has a unique mix of modernity and tradition, suited for every occasion and moment. Created by the most skilled craftsmen from West Bengal, Gaja designs tender a universal appeal to all. We aim at reaching out to as many consumers as we can in the coming years, offering them our unique brand experience.”
During the inauguration of the outlet in Gurgaon, the company held a special preview of three of its signature products – a 3.3 kg golden ‘Octopus Paul’, a ‘Golden Eagle’’, weighing around five kg, and ‘Cinderella, the golden stilettos’, weighing 1.5 kg.
Launched in 2007, Gaja is a chain of branded concept jewellery outlets. Gaja exclusive showrooms are present in Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Bangalore. The company has extensive investment plans for brand building and has launched collection-specific brands targeted at specific consumer groups. The product mix includes hallmarked gold jewellery, gold jewellery studded with precious and semi-precious stones, certified diamond studded jewellery and exclusive Mughal-style jadau.
