French cosmetic company, L’Oréal Paris, is all set to launch the Youth Code- an anti-ageing line that claims to ‘crack the genetic code to younger-acting skin’. The line has been in works for 10 years at the Saint-Louis hospital Skin Research Institute in Paris. It is being billed as the first range in the mass market to use gene-boosting science. “GenActiv technology is the secret to Youth Code. It helps the skin to recover faster after agressions while making it more younger”, says Francois Cabanne, Inrenational Director, Product Development, L’Oréal. The collection includes a day-night cream, a serum, a day-lotion and an eye cream. According to Symphony IRI Group, a Chicago-based market research firm, L’oréal Paris ranks second in facial anti-ageing, behind its closest competitor, Proctor&Gamble.
