US-based cosmetic giant, Estée Lauder, has announced Karen Buglisi as the Global Brand President of its premium cosmetic brand – M.A.C. Buglisi joined M.A.C in 1998 as Vice President of North American Sales and Artist Training and Development. She was responsible for global sales, artist training, finance and forecasting. In her new role, she will now take care of marketing and global communications, and will also work closely with creative and product development teams. Prior to M.A.C, Buglisi worked for Adipar, a fragrance distributor that was owned by Escada, a global prestige fashion house.
