Pacific Mall, Delhi signs big retailers as anchors

Pacific Mall in Rajouri Garden, Delhi, has signed retailers such as Lifestyle, Zara, Mango, Charles & Keith, Tommy Hilfiger, Promod, Nine West and Gant as its anchors.

Spar will also open a 60,000 sq.ft store at Pacific Mall, on revenue sharing or minimum guarantee, in the third quarter of the current fiscal. Cinemax is also coming up with a six-screen multiplex at the mall.

Speaking exclusively to IndiaRetailing, Abhishek Bansal, executive director, Pacific Development Corporation Ltd, says, “The retail mix has been strategically allocated. The best collection of cuisines in the food court and exclusive restaurants have been put together to cater to the palate of West Delhiites.” The mall, being developed by Pacific Development Corporation Ltd, has a total retail space of 4.4 lakh sq.ft and is currently 85 per cent leased out.

“The building design and interiors have been created to offer shoppers a cheerful and pleasant ambience. For the first time ever, a team of professionals, with experience in maintaining, marketing and managing large shopping centres, has been appointed to offer an international shopping experience at Pacific Mall,” adds Bansal. Pacific Mall has appointed Pioneer Property Zone (PPZ) to plan and execute a suitable tenant mix, as well as to manage the mall.

Prachi Agarwal, marketing manager, Pacific Development Corporation Ltd, says the mall will become operational on November 1, 2010.

“The facilities available at the mall include a multi-level car parking area, nursery, feeding room, florist, tailor, professionally managed information desk, baby strollers on rent and a baby changing room,” Agarwal adds.
