Orra, one of the finest diamond jewellery retail chains in the country, has launched its first flagship store in Delhi. The store at the posh South Extension Part-II market is spread over an area of 3,000 sq.ft and has three levels with dedicated space for diamond, platinum, gold and bridal jewellery. There is also a separate section for high-end purchases.
While Orra is primarily a diamond jewellery boutique, the new store will stock gold jewellery as well. Customers can choose from a vast array of heavy and light weight gold jewellery, all the designs are in 22 carat and BIS hallmarked.
“It gives me immense pleasure to launch our largest store in the capital. The size of the store and the uniqueness of the jewellery set it apart from the others. India is now ready for a whole segment of luxury shopping and Orra’s diamond boutique offers customers just that,” said Vijay Jain, CEO, Orra.
He further said that Orra was planning to invest Rs.75 crore and open four new stores by the end of this fiscal. “We will be opening stores in Nagpur, Rajpur, Baroda and Jalandhar. Orra will open its key stores on hi-streets, rather than in malls,” Jain said.
Orra currently has 30 stores across India, including one flagship store each in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi. “In near future, we want to take our flagship store count to five stores; we will open another flagship store in Mumbai and one in Bangalore,” the CEO said.
