Wardrobe expands presence in Delhi

Wardrobe, one of the leading chains of dry-cleaning and laundry service in Delhi, has opened its 57th outlet in the Delhi and NCR region. The 150 sq.ft outlet has come up at Central Market, Saket, at an investment of around Rs.5 lakh.

Atul Maheshwari, executive director, Wardrobe, said, “We have received very encouraging response from all corners of Delhi and NCR, especially from South Delhi, which gets us maximum patronage. We would like to cater to our customers with more effective, hi-end and timely quality services. We are planning to open more retail outlets in the near future in the region.”

Wardrobe, established in 2008 by Delhi-based Diamond Fabcare Pvt Ltd, in collaboration with Brown Gouge, Australia, a 93-year-old company in dry-cleaning and laundry industry, plans to take its total outlet count to 80, from the present 57, by the end of this year.

The company intends to expand its reach in other cities across the country with an investment of around Rs.150 crore. Wardrobe also plans to set up a network of around 1,000 exclusive wash care centres and 30 centralised processing facilities, starting with Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai, covering 30 cities by 2012-13.

The company has widened its reach by offering one-third of its capacity to cater to the outsourcing of specialised dry cleaning and laundry service by mid-sized hotels and institutions such as Hilton and Lemon Tree, among others.
