Sephora’s ‘on-the-go-shopping’ application

Must Read

LVMH-owned cosmetics retailer, Sephora, has launched its mobile application that will give consumers the ability to shop and view their shopping histories and even find the nearest Sephora outlet in North America with the help of GPS technology. “We had a vision of the information we wanted our customers to have on the go, and given the rapid rate of adoption of smartphones, developing this type of technology was a natural progression,” says Julie Bornstein, Senior Vice President, Sephora Direct.

Addressed at m.sephora.com, the program also has the ability to suggest new products based on past purchases and look up past ones — “Customers will never have to enter another store and wonder about the shade they bought the last time,” further says Bornstein. The same application will also be launched for i-phone, i-Pod Touch and i-Pad later this October.
