NTC to retail Rosebys’ home furnishing products

Rosebys Interiors India, a 100% subsidiary of GHCL, has entered into a partnership with National Textile Corporation (NTC) for retailing home furnishing products.

Under the agreement, NTC stores will be rebranded as Rosebys@NTC. While NTC will provide material input from its modernised mills, Rosebys will be responsible for value addition and marketing.

Rita Menon, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India, said, “The textile industry is one of the largest and oldest industries in India and is among the world’s top producers of yarns and fabrics. With the quantity and quality of its products ever increasing and improving, this is the right time to involve renowned private players to enhance the overall value of the product.”

NTC chairman K Ramachandran Pillai said, “I am sure Rosebys@NTC will be able to provide a whole new experience to our patrons. We admire the young, energetic brand that Rosebys represent, the international success of the brand has got and their design and marketing capabilities is worth mentioning.”

Through the public-private partnership, Rosebys@NTC will tap the potential in tier I and II cities. The store will offer a wide variety of Rosebys products including bedsheets, bed covers and duvet. The store will also stock products like vases, frames, cushions, lamps and candles.

“We are targeting this space across the country to deliver world-class products and an exciting shopping experience at an affordable price to consumers. This tie-up is in line with our growth strategy and will give us a huge opportunity to reach out to our target group. This partnership will help our brand in the process of building a powerful new brand and have a dominant presence in the country’s retail arena,” said Nikhil Sen, MD, Rosebys Interiors India Ltd.
