Miele enters Mumbai

Must Read

Miele, German luxury home appliances brand, entered the Mumbai market today with its shop-in-shops at Grandeur Interiors at Raghuvanshi Mills Compound in Lower Parel and Tulip in Santacruz West.

Dhananjay Chaturvedi, managing director, Miele India said, “Mumbai is a very important market for us and being the financial and fashion capital of India, Mumbai not only has the means but also has the exposure to global products and the aptitude to invest in luxury. The affluent Indian consumer is selective, aware, well traveled and has a keen eye for quality and design. With this launch, we are trying to create a very discerning and interactive environment for consumption of high-end luxury home appliances.”

”We are looking at strengthening our retail presence this year by expanding our network and establishing our presence in large format retail. However, where luxury consumption is evolved, the purchase is already made even before a customer visits the actual store. It is very important for a luxury brand to preserve its aura in addition to present a distinct brand identity. Addressing these needs, we will carefully select our touch-points in the city,” added Chaturvedi.
