Glosel India, a global distributor of haircare products has announced plans to make their first launch in the skincare segment. “We are mainly into hair care like rebonding, hair spa, deep conditioners, shampoos/conditioners, perming and straightening products. We have tied up with Dr Spillers`s Biocosmetics from Germany. The products are expected to hit the market by end January 2010. We are introducing treatment solutions for pigmentation, whitening, anti acne and anti-aging for professional use,” she says.

The company, which is based in Singapore, has been a distributor of pharmaceutical ingredients since 1999, with a cosmetic division launched in 2006. “We source top of the line, quality products from reputed manufacturing companies in South America, Europe and rest of the world,” says Radha.

The company also has plans in retail — to set up cosmetic stores with a Head-to-Toe concept of treatment products. “These stores will be located in all major cities with a multi-brand concept. We have plans to roll out 510 such stores all over India in the next six years,” she says.
