PVR Ltd, one of the leading retail entertainment companies, today announced the opening of its first multiplex in Raipur, Chhattisgarh at the Magneto Mall. The four-screen multiplex with a seating capacity of 1,203 will offer the people of Raipur a digital movie experience. With this recent launch, PVR Cinemas is now present in 15 cities with a total number of 112 screens.
Talking about its further expansion plan, Pramod Arora, group president, PVR Ltd informs, “This is a first step towards our strategic expansion plans and we are looking forward to provide a world class movie experience to other centers in Chhattisgarh as well. Also we will be expanding to other cities such as Chennai, Ahmadabad, Ghaziabad and Allahabad and are hoping to add another 28 screens by the end of this financial year.
