Surya Brasil, a Brazilian hair and beauty company spent close on $500,000 on organizing a four day dance event and workshop in Gurgaon from September 10 to13. An unusual form of brand promotion, the event brought together a variety of concepts – herbal ingredients, fusion ingredients, fusion dancing and an awareness of the more than 300 skus the brand has to offer. In India for the last two years, Surya Brasil is making a consolidated presence across retail stores.
The brand promotion: posters, interviews, information about the brand, counters at the venue (Leela Kempinski hotel, Gurgaon) and a lot of media attention. “We have a lot of expectation from India,” says Brand Founder and CEO, Surya Brasil, who is a dancer and performer herself.
