Must Read

Fenesta Building Systems, a division of Rs.3,500 crore DSCL Group, has forayed with its retail operation in India. To establish direct contact with its end-users through a chain of retail outlets, Fenesta stores are being set up in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mangalore, Chennai and Bhubaneswar to display the entire range of Fenesta Windows including sliders, casements, tilt and turn, bays and combination windows.

The company has set up an exclusive showroom in Mumbai and Bhubaneswar. It has also adopted the popular ‘shop-in-shop’ concept for marketing its windows. Fenesta is also appointing dealers across the country to increase its retail reach.

“Changing home windows is a new idea in home improvement and renovation. Fenesta’s exclusive sales outlets across the country will help us immensely to take our UPVC windows brand closer to the end customer,” said Sandeep Mathur, business head, Fenesta Building Systems.

The company further plans to expand the number of showrooms in metros and tier II cities. Some of the tier II cities where Fenesta is simultaneously expanding its retail network include Bhopal, Ludhiana, Jammu, Jalandhar, Raipur, Mysore, Vijayawada, Tanjore, Vellour Tirunevelli, Belgaum, Indore, Gwalior, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Shimoga, Alibagh, Lonavala, Nasik, Aurangabad, Baroda, Surat, Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Guwahati. By the end of year 2009, it hopes to be present in over 50 cities across India.

To ensure timely deliveries across the country, the company has set up five fabrication units in Bhiwadi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.
