Red Tape goes online

Must Read

The internet savvy Gen Next of India now has a new shopping destination – the Online Store of India’s premium men’s shoes and apparel brand – Red Tape. The first of its kind initiative in the industry makes Red Tape a pioneer in the retail market apart from taking the brand a step closer to its target market.

Its website allows customers to browse through the footwear and sandal collections of the brand at leisure and order their choice from the convenience of their homes. Its official says that the payment gateway is highly secured so customers need not have to worry at all about the online financial transactions. The back-end and delivery systems are perfect to ensure that all online orders are processed and delivered to the customers within three days at no extra cost. What’s more…..if the customer has any grievances on the fit or style, the product can be replaced within 7 days at no extra charge!

Commenting on the initiative Rashid Mirza, MD, Red Tape, says, “We want to connect with our target audience – the young, trendy and fashion-conscious youth – and what better way to reach them than the internet. Our extensive market research we established that Indian youth regularly visit Online Shopping sites in search of latest fashion and brand ideas. We realised that we needed to be there to catch this traffic. The increasing numbers of hits that our site has been getting ever since the launch are an indicator of the success of our portal.”

The Online initiative is a part of the Red Tape’s strategy to reinforce its image as a brand that is contemporary, modern and trendy and caters to all segments, with special focus on the youth. In fact, to reinforce its youth connect, Red Tape recently unveiled its new logo and re-defined signage to reflect the dynamism and energy that characterizes the brand’s vitality. “The Red Tape apparel collection would also be available on its online shopping portal soon,” concluded Mirza.
