Home decor and lifestyle products brand Rosebys Interiors India has announced its foray into national capital region market with the launch of its store. The new store in Connaught Place area of national capital is company’s 55th store.
Speaking on the occasion Nikhil Sen, director, Rosebys Interior India said, “We are on the growth trajectory .With the brand well entrenched in the emerging markets of many Indian states we are now all set to woo the discerning home maker of New Delhi.”
Rosebys kick started its Indian retail operations in the month of October 2008 with the launch in the state of Punjab. Since then, the company has launched its stores in the state like Punjab, Gujarat, West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, where it opened more than over 54 stores.
According to estimates, with organised home décor and lifestyle products retailing growing at more than 30 per cent annually, there is a huge untapped market for the home décor and lifestyle market in India which is pegged around Rs 140 billion. “We are targeting this space across the country to deliver world class products, an exciting shopping experience at an affordable price to consumers. We are in the process of building a powerful brand and are poised to have a dominant presence in the country’s retail arena,” added Sen.
Reports suggest that the organised Indian retail market is fast growing and is expected to touch USD 12 billion by 2015. Aloke Banerjee, CEO, Rosebys said, “Home furnishings and décor market in India is largely dominated by the unorganised players. We are here to bridge the gap between the luxury and low end market present in the home furnishings and décor market currently. Rosebys aims at providing affordable premium products to its customers. We have a wide range of products to suit every aspiring woman. We will be opening 150 stores in the next 6 months.”
