Weider Germany GmbH, the world leader in fitness and body building supplements, has announced its plans to enter into Indian market. As part of the plan, the company will appoint distributors in all major metros across India.
Sven Schade, managing director, Weider Germany GmbH, said, “We have been on the lookout for distributors in south east Asia and after a depth study of markets, it was unanimously decided that India would be best suited, given its growing economy, increasing purchasing power and its sophistication.”
“We intend to bring our world class products to the Indian market, which is witnessing a revolution with regard to health, fitness and bodybuilding among the youth. We are scouting for distributors who have a good distribution network among gyms, fitness clubs, etc. We see a great potential in the Indian market and are excited to work hand in hand with distributors in all major Indian cities for building this promising new market,” he further added.
After the appointment of distributors, Weider Germany GmbH will launch the products in India. All products for the Indian market will be made in Germany.
