Pizza chain Papa John’s opens 19th outlet

US-based Pizza major Papa John’s has opened Mumbai’s fifth outlet at Little World Mall, Kharghar. Spread over 1,000 square feet, the newly launched store is company’s 19th outlet in India, according to a company press release.

Sudesh Singh, business head, Papa John’s India, said, “The Indian market is growing and provides immense opportunities for multi-national chains in the country. The previous four outlets in Mumbai are doing extremely well and with this opening, we have consolidated our position in Maharashtra. We did not have a Papa John’s outlet in Navi Mumbai and we are certain that the store is going to be well-received by the residents of Navi Mumbai.”

Papa John’s is currently operational with over 3,225 branches in 28 countries and operates 600 international restaurants, added the release.
