Stationery and art brand Camlin has launched premium signature impregnated fountain pen by the name SD. According to a press release, the pen is a tribute to the legacy of Late Shri Sharad Dandekar, the pioneer of Camlin fountain pens in India.
“The signature pen market in India is mainly dominated by international players, and with ‘SD’, Camlin has become the first Indian manufacturer to enter in the premium writing instrument segment,” said Shriram Dandekar, executive director, Camlin.
Adding further he said, “SD marks the beginning of a new trend of premium made in India signature pens.”
Priced at Rs 600, SD fountain pen is classically designed for a sleek finish and aesthetically crafted so as to offer smooth writing experience. The cap provides a unique vaccu-lock technology which protects the nib from drying and allows instant writing from the first letter onwards. The body is crafted with high gloss, scratch resistant and high impact resins.
