Elder to market GEM’s products in India

Mumbai-based pharma major Elder Pharmaceuticals has tied-up with one of Australian pharma firms Global Energy Medicines (GEM) to market the latter’s pain management products in India. As part of the plan, Elder will market Global Energy’s energy medicines with the use of personal micro-electronic devices. Initially, Elder will market a digital personal medical treatment device of GEM called E-cell and targets revenue close to around Rs 200 million by the end of the third year of operation.

Alok Saxena, director international, Elder Pharmaceuticals, said, “We have expertise in wound care and pain management segments through our chymoral and other products and this association with GEM will help further strengthen our services in the segment.”

Besides India, GEM is currently operational in China, Europe, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, UK and the US.
