Ultratech, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group promoted Grasim Industries, has been learnt to open around 400 retail outlets across the country by 2009. Further, the company is planning to strengthen presence in Orissa and include six more states under its operation.
OP Puranmalka, chief marketing officer, Ultratech, said, “Plans are afoot to add six more states due to the success obtained in the existing ones.”
The proposed stores will help Ultratech to offer end-to-end home-building solutions, high quality construction materials and allied value-added services to more customers across India.
Currently, the company runs 89 Ultratech Building Solutions (UBS) retail outlets in states including Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
