CERA Sanitaryware, one of India’s bathroom solutions majors, has entered into premium designer tiles segment and will retail foreign brands. The company also plans to retail the products through its own showrooms as well as through premium designer tile dealers.
Announcing the launch, Vidush Somany, executive director, CERA Sanitaryware, said, “We have tied up with designer tile manufacturers of Italy and Spain for marketing their products in India. We have opened an exclusive showroom branded ‘CERA Vogue’ for designer tiles in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar area and are focusing on the premium tiles segment with exclusive and customised options for developers and high-end consumers.”
The Italian brands include Rondine, Emil Ceramica and Gigacer while Diago Ceramica and Rocerca are the Spanish brands in offer from the group. “We plan to rope in more such companies soon,” said Deepak Agarwal, GM, CERA’s tile venture.
The company has further decided to open more ‘CERA Vogue’ showrooms in cities like Ahmedabad and Cochin soon and later in other major cities as well, said a company press release.
