Bharti unveils new corporate brand identity

Bharti Enterprises, India’s leading business group, has unveiled a new brand identity and strategic vision which is aimed at building the group into India’s finest conglomerate by 2020, said a company press release.

Unveiling the new brand identity, Sunil Bharti Mittal, chairman and group CEO, Bharti Enterprises said, “At Bharti, we have always believed in undertaking transformational projects that have a positive impact on the society and contribute to the nation building process. Having diversified into new businesses in agriculture, financial services and retail business with world-class partners, we have laid the foundation for building a conglomerate of future which will achieve USD 10 billion in revenues by 2010.”

Bharti Enterprises is one of India’s leading business groups with interests in telecom, agri business, financial services and retail. Bharti has a JV – Bharti Del Monte India Private Limited (formerly FieldFresh Foods) – with Del Monte Foods India Pvt Ltd, to offer fresh and processed fruits and vegetables in the domestic as well as international markets. Bharti has retail business under a company called Bharti Retail Pvt Ltd. It also has a joint venture – Bharti Walmart Private Ltd. – with Walmart for wholesale cash-and-carry and back-end supply chain management operations in India.

“As Bharti enters its next phase of growth, we have a new vision to make Bharti, India’s finest conglomerate by 2020,” added Mittal.
