Chennai-based corporate courier company Xpress Deliveries has launched its first retail courier outlet branded as Speedmail Deliveries, in the state recently.
Speaking to media, S Vijayakumar, director, Xpress Deliveries, said Speedmail will initially cover Chennai with 30 franchisees and expand to other cities in Tamil Nadu by next March.
According to the company, the current market size of the courier industry is estimated at Rs 7,000 crore and the industry is growing at 25 per cent a year.
