Hyderabad airport to retail Indian crafts

GMR Group, the company that runs the Hyderabad International Airport, in an effort to provide quality retail space for Indian ethnic products, has planned to include several ethnic goods retailers at the premises of the airport.

According to an official release from the company, the company will be bringing together retailers selling product ranges that include handicrafts, garments, jewellery and books from all over India to the airport.

Major brands and retailers who will be showcasing their products include The Bombay Stores, Monalisa Pearls, Fabindia, Trifed, Lepakshi, Hyderabadi Bangles, Neerus Ensemble, Krishna Pearls and Landmark Spiritual, among others.

In addition to this, GMR Group has also planned to retail self-sponsored crafts that include traditional toys and leather puppets made by the rural women of Andhra Pradesh.
