German car major Audi is all set to open an exclusive outlet in Ahmedabad by the end of 2008. The Audi range is currently available in India through seven dealers in cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
According to the company’s spokesperson, the Ahmedabad store will be opened at SG Highway by the end of 2008, and retail all the variants of Audi that include Audi A8, Audi Q7, Audi A6, Audi A4, Audi TT and Audi A4 sedan.
Speaking to media, Benoit Tiers, MD, Audi India, said: “We will continue to focus on customer-oriented products for the Indian market. In the coming months, customers can expect sophisticated and sporty luxury models form Audi.”
Mumbai-based Audi India commenced its business activities in 2007, and is on course to achieve top sales figures in 2008. In the first seven months of 2008, the firm’s India sales have increased by 16 per cent to 595 units, as compared to 226 units sold last year.
