Classic Polo opens in Pune

The Royal Classic Group (RCG), owner of the Classic Polo brand of t-shirts, has opened a Classic Polo showroom at Aundh in Pune. It is the company’s first outlet in the city and the 60th in the country.

Spread over 750 square feet, the outlet will retail the entire collection of Classic Polo t-shirts, trousers, cargos, denim, jackets, winter collection, loungewear and men’s innerwear.

Commenting on the launch, R Sivaram, executive director of RCG, said: “We are happy to serve the rising fashion needs of Pune. We are sure that the old and young alike will welcome Royal Classic fashion in town.”

The Rs 325-crore RCG plans to set up around 100 retail outlets in the country in the current fiscal. “We are looking at multiple showrooms in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik and Nagpur, and are also focusing on other cities including Aurangabad, Sholapur, Sangli, Amravati, Vadodara, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain and Gwalior,” Sivaram added.
