Metro Shoes opened its fifth store in Bengaluru today. Located at Aejaz Avenue in Jayanagar, this is the company’s 75th outlet in the country.

“This 75th store represents a milestone in our ongoing expansion across India, and we look forward to bringing our wide range of high-quality shoes and accessories to more localities across India in the months to come,” said Rafique Malik, chairman and managing director of Metro Shoes.

The store is in two levels, one each for women and men, and stocks Metro’s in-house labele including DaVinchi, Signature, Gen-x and Princess along with national brands like Florsheim, Lee Cooper, Red Tape, Bulchee, Egle, Fila, Homme, Geox, ID, Franco Leone, Kittens and Woodland.

Metro Shoes recently entered into a strategic tie-up with HealthShare to retail Buff’nShine.

Buff’nShine is a US-based brand of battery-powered shoe polisher and has chosen Chennai-based company HealthShare as its India partner, to market and distribute Buff’nShine products across the country.

“The Jayanagar store will feature the latest in affordable shoes and fashion accessories. We are pleased to offer our selection at Jayanagar, one of Asia’s largest residential colonies,” said Anwar Sayani, regional manager, Metro Shoes.
