More ColorPlus exclusives in tier II cities

ColorPlus Fashions Ltd has planned to expand its chain of ColorPlus stores by launching new outlets in tier II cities.

Confirming the news to Indiaretailing, Rajan Mudaliar, president, ColorPlus said: “We have planned new launches for our stores and most of them will be in the tier II cities.”

Speaking about the branding of the stores, Vineesh Chadha, COO, ColorPlus said, “Some of the showrooms will be company owned while others will be franchised. They will all be branded as ColorPlus exclusive stores.” The company will retail the entire ColorPlus range of apparel and accessories in those stores.

Speaking about the brand’s identity in tier II cities, Chadha said, “We already operate stores in cities including Udaipur, Lucknow and Patna and the brand is doing good business there. Ours is a well known brand and enjoy a considerable number of brand loyal consumers.”

The company currently operates 55 showrooms and plans to open 25 outlets across the country in 18 months.

ColorPlus had recently launched a new range of cotton menswear range called ‘Xnovation’ and plans to introduce the range for women soon.
